the Horn dance takes place in and around Abbots Bromley, from 8 o'clock in the morning until around 8 in the evening, and involving a walk of around 10 miles. The Abbots Bromley Horn Dancers website has pictures and lots of information.
In the evening local morris sides, including Beggars' Oak, dance in the village until the Horn dancers return as night falls. Horns night starts our autumn season, and is one of our favourite events of the year.
Some of our musicians dance with Lichfield Morris (red sashes) so there were a few quick changes during the evening!
