How to Join

Joining our dance team or band couldn't be easier! Simply come along any Monday evening from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Armitage Village Hall - (see Google map below) - and speak to any of our members. We will make you most welcome, and introduce you to our fellow dancers and band members.

Membership

Just come along and say hello! We will show you the basic steps, and gradually build up your skills and confidence as you learn more of our dances. Simply turn up in comfortable shoes and casuals.

When the time is right, usually after about four weeks, we will provide you with a dress, hat and clogs to dance out in - and you become a sub-paying member of our group!

If you are joining our band, you will be provided with a waistcoat - but you can enhance your kit by adding a hat or anything in keeping with the Beggars Oak theme. If you are joining the band, you will, of course, need to bring an instrument to play!
